If you have invested in a copy of GameSalad, it’s not because you’re interested in the software as software. Many behaviors and rules are never addressed.
Amazon Advertising Find, attract, and engage customers. An Unofficial GameSalad Textbook is a nice resource to have, but it definitely needs some editing and a redesign to be worth the high price. May be good for someone else but it was a bad fit for me. There are time-saving tips and tricks in this textbook that make it even easier to use GameSalad.
Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. As far as the content goes, An Unofficial GameSalad Textbook does a pretty good job teaching, but doesn’t offer much more than I can get for free on the web.
She also keeps textbolk on your toes by using a textbook-like format for each chapter, ending them with useful thought experiments and peppering her discussions with sidebars containing wisdom about how games work and how to design them.

If you’ve exhausted all free web resources and still want a nudge in the right direction, this may be your best bet, but put me on record for saying that it is not worth the high gamesalaad and that it badly needs a redesign.

Even worse is that once you get to the end of the page, you are forced to hit a little blue “next” button that will take you to the next page. It’s because you’re interested in creating games. These items are shipped from and sold by different sellers. However, I felt the tutorials on the specific behaviors were not that good or detailed.
Essentially I was looking for a guide to break down how to use gamesalad, which does not come with much “how to” already.
