I really like the whole concept of this novel, i wish there was such a prophecy out there and if there’s none, i hope that we can follow some of the things Redfield has laid out for us in this book.

There were times when it felt as if this one was written to me. Great fiction for the spiritual mind!


In many ways, The Celestine Prophecy was the book that opened the door to the New Age movement in books. Read this book many moons ago and just loved it. That being said, it’s true that it doesn’t really follow the typical novel concept as, to me, it felt more like spiritual concepts wrapped into a story.

The suspense of priests and government soldiers trying to stop the spread of the insights and discoveries, were back round to the reader. James lives with his wife, Salle, and cat, Meredith, in Alabama and Arizona.
