Though there was not a lady in his life, he would soon move into and guard the new castle that he and Duncan MacKenzie has designed. Great author with wonderful writing style!

I’d easily recommend this series to a friend who loves Scotland and her amazing, handsome baest Twice wed and twice widowed, Lady Caterine Keith has no need for a champion. Welfonder takes the reader to the hills of the Highlands and we never want to leave.

Linnet appears to use her gift of sight much more in this novel. He is a scarred hero who has many demons of his own but goes to Champion his best friend and Lieges sister in law, Caterine.

Good book, although it dragged in parts, and I felt like it took Caterine a bit on the long side to come around, although I did understand her issues with what she has suffered in the past. She can fend off unwanted suitors on her own and guard her Scottish stronghold without the help of any man. Marmaduke only suffers from a broken heart.

I admit I needed my box of tissues for this one with such an unexpected turn of events. The Rebel of Clan Kincaid. I have recently discovered this author, and have just loved what she has written so far, which includes Bride of the Beast.

Welfonder has the talent to make you feel as if you are actually there. How could you not? I loved his character except I thought that perhaps he was too forthcoming with his feelings.
